Under dubious circumstances, the writer Andreas Landwehr passes away. His helpless parents hand over his unfinished last manuscript to Michael Nast, Andreas's companion and school friend. As he reads the text, it becomes clear that the ambition-driven Andreas was entangled in a fateful love triangle from which there was no escape.
