Sowohl als ob

This publication showcases the diverse artistic processes that Peter Radelfinger has developed and executed in his long-standing work at the Zurich University of the Arts with students from various fields of study: fundamental (initially drawing and performative) exercise series, strategies and techniques of image work, research, actions, and complex artistic projects. Radelfinger aims to establish precise coordinates for activating an expanded perception and a broader understanding of art. Specific parameters are repeatedly provided as a framework for action, allowing students maximum creative freedom within this minimal structure. Here, Radelfinger combines his own artistic approach with his pedagogical and didactic knowledge. It is no coincidence that he refers to his teaching as part of his own practice.
