Care instead of crash

Actually, everything would be quite simple. We are becoming increasingly productive, able to produce goods and services in shorter and shorter timeframes. As a result, there is more time and more resources available for everything that cannot be rationalized or that we do not want to rationalize. This includes education, leisure, and culture. Prominently, it also includes care work, personal services, and reproductive labor. However, we are confronted with a paradox that runs through various forms of capitalist society: high rationality is paired with high irrationality. On one hand, everything is subjected to rational purposes: more efficient, faster, better. On the other hand, we experience significant irrational disruptions at the macroeconomic level. What appears rational for individual enterprises, such as reducing costs or ignoring environmental issues, is part of this contradiction.
