The Gospel of Mark in the Editio Critica Maior

The Editio Critica Maior documents the Greek textual history of the first millennium based on the most important Greek manuscripts, ancient translations, and New Testament citations in ancient Christian literature. After the volumes on the Acts of the Apostles and the Catholic Epistles have been available for some years, the first volume on a synoptic Gospel, the Gospel of Mark, now follows. The original biblical text has also been reconstructed using a newly developed methodology, resulting in several changes. The work is published in three parts. This first part contains the Greek text along with a clearly structured, extensive textual critical apparatus.
