Almanak

Almanak is Claus Meyer's dream of a perfect year of eating. Based on the seasons and the ingredients available at different times of the year, the book offers more than 1000 recipes for all occasions. Almanak is the cookbook that Claus Meyer created when he no longer believed in cookbooks. For four years, he meticulously compiled this book, inspired by Otto Bock's gastronomic calendar, capturing the perfect Danish culinary year. Many of the ideas Meyer presents in Almanak have only gained in sharpness and relevance since then. Claus Meyer, born in 1963, is one of the most influential restaurateurs in Denmark (and beyond). He is a co-founder of the world-renowned restaurant Noma, has made a name for himself as a television chef, and pursues the goal of making unconditional hospitality possible through his company Meyers.
