"Wirtschaft heute" provides fundamental knowledge of economic events and general economic knowledge across 14 chapters from four competency areas, suitable for education, profession, and everyday life. The book supports trainees in vocational schools and specialized schools following current curriculum guidelines on their journey through lessons up to the Wiso exam, which it covers. Student-related introductory situations, numerous tables and diagrams, as well as graphical summaries at the end of each chapter, facilitate self-organized learning and interconnected thinking. This is also the aim of the whole or multi-page "competency-oriented topic assignments" at the end of each chapter. Review tasks at the end of the subchapters complete the picture. The 17th edition has been thoroughly updated, focusing on the new concept of material defects in sales law, as well as changes in the law of partnerships and the Works Constitution Act.
