Easy Swiss Tax - Chancen und Herausforderungen

This work examines the Easy Swiss Tax reform in the field of economics in comparison to the current tax system in Switzerland. The FDP advocates for this radical and partially pragmatic reform, aiming for a significant simplification of the tax model and promising various advantages: for instance, this change is intended to allow an entire tax declaration to fit symbolically on a beer mat. The study seeks to answer the following questions: What are the advantages and disadvantages of the Easy Swiss Tax compared to the existing tax system? What consequences would the introduction of this tax reform entail? How do taxpayers perceive such a significant change? The goal of this work is a critical engagement with the Easy Swiss Tax reform and the Swiss tax system, based on these analyses.
