Durch Hospitation zur logopädischen Handlungskompetenz

Birgit Müller-Kolmstetter explores how learning environments must be designed to develop speech therapy competencies. The author analyzes the extent to which observation of authentic professional activities, known as "Hospitation," is suitable for acquiring competencies. From a learning theory perspective and against the backdrop of competency development models, she demonstrates that the degree of activity, cooperation, and reflection among learners are crucial factors for learning success. Additionally, she presents a concept for practical training in the Bachelor's program in Speech Therapy that enables students to acquire practical competencies during observation situations. The foundation for this is collegial consultation, as it integrates essential learning theoretical characteristics and facilitates the initiation and expansion of practical competencies.
