A Handbook for Spirit Journeys in the Astral Light Sky
What is the oldest question in the world? 'Is the soul independent of the body?' 'Is there a neighboring dimension, is there a realm of souls?' In this book, I gather soul journeys that clients who have participated in my dark therapy have shared with me. In these soul journeys, our self-awareness seems to partially or completely detach from the body. This is a non-theoretical experiential book about spirit expeditions that people have unwittingly undertaken - at night, in the dark, in the transitional state between waking, dreaming, and sleeping. These experiences open our eyes to a neighboring world, of which our material world is apparently only a dream reflection.
Holger Kalweit, a psychologist and ethnologist, developed dark therapy after completing a 7-week Yanktik (dark stay) under the guidance of a Tibetan monk in Nepal in the late 1960s. He led dark stays until the end of 2005. Today, he explores the prehistory of the world through ancient texts and traditions of non-European peoples.
