The 5th case for the East Frisian investigation team Femke Folkmer and Tjark Wolf: Sven Koch fascinates with a story of revenge about the collective guilt of a village community on the East Frisian North Sea coast, about xenophobia and the personal secrets of individuals, apparently well known fellow men. A criminal case against the backdrop of contemporary German history after the fall of the Iron Curtain and of course against a magnificent North Sea coast backdrop. A horse ripper is killed in Werlesiel, the small fishing and tourist town on the East Frisian North Sea coast. When people die, too, it becomes clear that the villagers are keeping a terrible secret. A secret that the LKA special department SKO has to solve around Tjark Wolf and Femke Folkmer. The events take us back to the time when the Iron Curtain fell and - as it does again today - refugees were sent to Germany.
