As a baby, little Victoria is adopted, but it soon becomes clear that her adoptive mother tyrannizes and tortures Victoria and her siblings. She brutally beats them, chokes the little ones out of pure joy, and lets them starve. Victoria is denied urgently needed medical care, and she has to spend weeks locked away in the attic. It is pure hell, and only after 18 years does Victoria manage to free herself from the clutches of her sadistic adoptive mother.
