The magazine "dreizehn 13 Gedichte" has quickly built a high-quality and enthusiastic readership. The fifth issue brings together classics and contemporary texts on the theme of the sea. In the front section of this fifth edition of the poetry series, author and actress Katharina Pütter once again presents thirteen classic works - from Theodor Storm and Bettine von Arnim to Kurt Tucholsky and Elisabeth Borchers. In the second part of the 160-page, high-quality produced issue, 13 contemporary texts curated by Barbara Heine follow. Alongside nine poems (by Anja Kampmann, Matthias Politycki, Doris Runge, Bis Böttcher, among others), this time there are also four song lyrics - by NORMA, Max Richard Lessmann, AnnenMayKantereit, and Uschi Wittich. Each of the thirteen classics is accompanied by an essayistic commentary from Katharina Pütter that contextualizes the poetry.
