Often, you look at photos and wonder, "How did they do that?" Behind some images lies a lot of effort, while others come about more casually and with a fair amount of luck. I have made many mistakes on my photographic journey, but in photography, too, it holds true: You learn from mistakes. This book consists of two parts. First, I discuss my fundamental philosophy and my approach to photographing people. The second part is a collection of my personal favorite images. I write about each picture, how it was created, what the shooting parameters were, and, most importantly, the story behind it. It covers both light and composition.
