Andrea Gerecke: Born in Berlin. Studied journalism and specialised in press and public relations. Shortly before the turn of the millennium, she discovered her love of country life and the creative opportunities it offers. Moved to the penultimate house on a village road in NRW. Work as a freelance author and national journalist. Her published works include murderous short stories in which everyday situations take a turn for the worse. "Gelegentlich tödlich" was followed by "Warum nicht Mord?!" and "Ruhe unsanft" for the Leipzig Book Fair in 2009. He also writes humorous and satirical texts. The first novel in the Weserbergland crime series "Mörderischer Feldzug" was published in 2011, followed by "Der Tote im Mittellandkanal" in 2012, "Die Mühlen des Todes" in 2013 and "Tödliche Begegnung im Moor", 2015 "Finales Foul", 2016 "Kein letzter Akt", 2017 "Die Weserleiche", 2018 "Freischießen", 2019 "Endstation Minden", 2020 "Zeilenfall". In 2021, the episodic novel "X-Mas: Hochdramatisch" was launched on the book market. In 2022, the detective duo Viola and Iris started their investigations in the capital: "Auf jeden Fall mit Blumen". They are joined by humorous and satirical texts, prose and poetry as well as "Christmas stories from the Weserbergland" in 2015, "Weserbergland: Um fünf am Weserstein!" in 2017, "Starke Frauen aus Westfalen" in 2019 and "Unheimlich weihnachtlich!
