Doppelstunde Volleyball

Why is volleyball a very popular sport in schools? Perhaps it's because you don't have to move as much as many believe? However, volleyball is inherently a fast-paced and dynamic game, which adds to its appeal. Or is it because players do not have direct physical contact and can perform their actions "undisturbed"? On the other hand, playing "volley" with the ball is technically complicated, and a lack of technique often disrupts the flow of the game and teamwork. The playful and game-oriented teaching of volleyball is the focus of the double lesson, meaning a methodological approach is presented that encourages playing early and quickly, despite difficult and not yet optimal techniques. Above all, long pauses due to frequent interruptions should be avoided.
