Doctor Who: The Angel of Redemption

Part of the six books for six decades collection, this poem explores themes of tragedy and beauty. The Weeping Angels are an ancient race of terrible power. With the ability to propel their victims backwards in time, their true form remains a mystery as they turn to stone upon sight. Cursed never to see one another, they wander the universe. However, they observe everything else: the entire course of time and space, including the journey of their deadliest enemy, the Doctor. In this extraordinary, epic poem, the Weeping Angels narrate the story of the years they've battled the Doctor and everything in between, much like a Greek Chorus, as they share their tragic tale with the world.
