Product details

Michael Dannenmann (born 1959 in Stuttgart, lives and works in Düsseldorf) is internationally recognized as one of the most important representatives of portrait photography. He has the ability to capture the essence of a person in the blink of an eye - that is true artistry. He often photographs artists in their studios. The most important element is always the face, and most of the time, the subject looks directly into the camera. Günther Uecker appears to have just moved in, while Markus Lüpertz still wears his painter's apron - the secret lies in a blend of planning and spontaneity. This combination is what makes the images of Michael Dannenmann truly fascinating. With contributions from Ulrich Erben and Klaus Honnef.
