Discover the world with baby signs: animals in the garden

Baby signs provide a playful foundation for the first vocabulary and appreciative communication between young and old. In this first volume of the "Discovering the World with Baby Signs" series, a little bee embarks on an adventure to explore the animals in the garden. With 20 age-appropriate selected signs based on German Sign Language (DGS), the rhymes and images become vivid for the little ones, making key words easier to understand. The peek-a-boo holes spark children's curiosity and focus on the essential element of the sign and the concept (e.g., the crawling legs of a beetle). Through the simple gestures of baby signs, they can actively participate from a young age. This fosters joy, self-confidence, and strengthens the shared bond. At the end of the book, parents, educators, and teachers can access videos via QR codes for each of the 20 signs presented with children's photos, allowing them to easily follow the hand signs.
