Disabled parenthood and its management

Parents who are attributed with a mental disability have a clear legal position on their side, yet they still struggle with many barriers – their parenthood is literally hindered. A particularly underrepresented perspective is that of the parents themselves. The book provides a comprehensive insight into their experiences: What motivates them? How do they cope with their often highly stressful life situation? This qualitative study addresses these and other questions and derives impulses for the practice of social work from them.
