Dirk Salz

The book "Dirk Salz" is published in connection with a unique exhibition project made possible through a collaboration between the Wuppertal campus of HBK Essen, the Löhrl Gallery in Mönchengladbach, and the artist Dirk Salz. The text by Professor Raimund Stecker examines the art intervention in the Campus Hall in Wuppertal, which was staged in 2023. He vividly describes the intended and perceived ambiguity of supposed realities in this updated space and its impact on the audience. Accompanying this text are views of the exhibition, sketches, and images of individual works that illustrate specific aspects of transparency, reflection, and light.
