Completing an Ironman is the ultimate goal for many triathletes. Tackling a long-distance triathlon 30 times in a row – and doing so nonstop – seems almost impossible. Dirk Leonhardt, a father of two, banker, and adventurer, has taken on this challenge. With 200 km of swimming, 5,400 km of cycling, and 1,336 km of running, he completed the longest nonstop triathlon in the world in the summer of 2020, earning a spot in the Guinness Book of Records.
