Axel's best friend Bosse has left. He's moved to a city called Perth in Australia, which is really far away. Axel misses Bosse very much and thinks about all the things he has lost: his best friend, his sports bag, eight of his baby teeth, Grandma, and his hamster Kakao. Axel's grandad has lost his hair and his memory, and someone has stolen his dad's bike. But then a new boy, Sven, moves into Bosse's old house. Axel thinks, "Maybe you find something new when something is lost, like a new friend, for example."
