The publication is designed as a practice-oriented reference and workbook and offers theoretically sound working aids for the implementation of child (protection) law in practice. With the aim of creating standards for a uniform application of the legal basis throughout Switzerland, the practical guide is published in German and French (the samples are also published in Italian). The explanations refer to the status of the legislation on January 1, 2017. There is a separate publication on adult protection law. The focus of the content is on the issues relevant to the KESB, mandate holders and clarification services. The discussion of the legal basis is combined with psychological and social work methodological knowledge. In addition to the basic texts, the practical guide contains around 85 samples and overviews, which are also available on a download platform as editable Word documents or practical PDFs.
