Product details

The present conference proceedings offer a multifaceted criminal law analysis of the concept of collectivization, particularly from the perspective of norm theory. Initially, the theory of participation is addressed: Kindhäuser highlights issues related to joint criminal conduct by engaging with the semantic level of the discussion. Schneider examines the international criminal law relevance of participation. Bock discusses the specific regulation in § 184j of the German Penal Code. Subsequently, questions of attribution are raised: Renzikowski explores, based on legal philosophy, the possibility of considering collectives as subjects of attribution. Wagner engages with the debate surrounding the responsibility of business leaders. The volume is rounded off by two additional aspects: Godinho emphasizes the relationship between collectivity and norm creation. Rösinger addresses the collectivization of dangers and thus the state of aggressive necessity.

With contributions from Prof. Dr. Dr. h.c. Urs Kindhäuser, Prof. Dr. Anne Schneider LL.M., Prof. Dr. Stefanie Bock, Prof. Dr. Joachim Renzikowski, Dr. Markus Wagner, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Inês Fernandes Godinho, and Dr. Luna Rösinger.
