The law of innominate contracts has gained significant practical importance today. Innominate contracts not only engage practitioners working in legal drafting but also frequently appear in our daily lives. Moreover, this area of law has always proven to be a true playground for dogmatic debates.

The work "Innominate Contract Law" is designed as a textbook. In keeping with its character, it aims to systematically present the subject matter and convey its fundamental principles to the readership in a concise manner. The primary target audience for the textbook is students. Additionally, the work is also suitable as a study aid for preparing for the bar exam and as a reference book for practitioners. However, a purely descriptive presentation of the material serves neither group well. Accordingly, the book also allows space for reflections that are intended to stimulate critical thinking rather than simply providing conclusive answers to open questions.

The first half of the textbook deals with the general part, addressing legal questions that can be grouped together and are accessible to a uniform answer, regardless of the specific type of contract in question. The subsequent special part presents a discussion of selected innominate contracts.
