On January 1, 2007, the new Federal Court Act came into force. In particular, the new complaint system is at the center of interest. What types of complaints exist, how do they differ, and what are the differences compared to the previous system of legal remedies? This book aims to provide a concise overview of the new complaints to the Federal Court and to facilitate the introduction to the new law. Therefore, the complaints are not presented separately; instead, various procedural questions are addressed cross-sectionally for all complaints wherever possible. This makes the nuances between the different complaints particularly clear. However, the discussion is by no means limited to a basic presentation of the law. The delicate boundary issues that will inevitably arise for complainants and the Federal Court sooner or later are given their due attention, as are the already recognized open questions. Finally, the synoptic presentation at the end of the book provides a clear overview of the new system of legal remedies. This work makes it easier for practitioners and students, as well as anyone else who wishes to familiarize themselves with the Federal Court complaint procedure in a timely manner, to engage with the new law.
