DiKE Bundesgerichtsgesetz (BGG) Praxiskommentar

The first edition of the short commentary on the BGG by Spühler, Dolge, and Vock was published before the BGG came into effect on January 1, 2007. At that time, the authors could only rely on the text of the law and the materials, as well as a few articles published in advance. Since then, a significant amount of case law and literature has emerged, making a second edition necessary. Not only has the scope greatly expanded, but the content of the new edition has also become broader and, above all, more in-depth. This is largely due to the contribution of Heinz Aemisegger, who has recently joined the author team. As an active federal judge, he brought a comprehensive overview of current case law and its development. The expanded authorship also strengthens the commentary in public law. The three authors of the first commentary cover, due to their decades-long focus, the equally significant areas of civil and criminal procedural law as well as debt enforcement and bankruptcy law for the BGG. The work is complemented by a detailed subject index.
