Digitalisierung und Qualitätsmanagement in der Jugendhilfe

We are surrounded by digital waves in our everyday lives. Internet-enabled devices make it possible to be online anytime and anywhere. Everything is being digitized, including the world of work. One must be reachable at all times. Private and professional lives are increasingly merging. Social work is also facing this phenomenon. Special software solutions are designed for this purpose. The pioneers of this digitalization are primarily large organizations, but smaller ones will have to follow suit. Quality has long played a significant role in the workplace. It doesn’t matter whether a certain product is being manufactured that must meet specific quality standards, or whether a service is being sold that is based on predetermined quality criteria. Quality does not just happen; it must be developed and managed. Does the digitalization of social work, particularly in youth services, truly bring more quality? This work aims to clarify whether the digitalization of youth services can support quality management in institutions.
