This paper provides an overview of digital correspondence. Today's mail traffic was examined and solutions for digital mail traffic were developed using theoretical concepts from the EDI area. With the goal of developing a holistic digital solution for today's mail traffic, the first phase for the transfer of a product idea into a market-ready product was tackled using the Running Lean method. The results that emerged from the potential customer surveys underpinned our expectations. Today's correspondence is very much digitalized. Mail traffic is now very much used as an alternative to conventional letter traffic. The critical nature of mail traffic, the dangers associated with it and the reasons why it should be stopped will be discussed. Today's mail traffic.
