What should a pedagogical concept look like that integrates digital media into the existing curricula in a meaningful way? How should the teaching staff be structured in order to develop school and teaching together in digital times? And what are the requirements of the Digital Pact?
This book deals with visions and concepts of school development in the age of digitalisation, but above all with the realities and stages of development of "digitally supported learning" (DgL). Two schools are presented as practical examples in their development steps and products - up to learning management systems, rules of procedure for design groups, criteria grids for app selection, pupil rules for the use of smartphones and illustrative teaching examples. In addition, the book contains tried-and-tested instruments for self-assessment of the developmental status of schools, for digitalised pupil feedback on teaching and quickly analysable college surveys.
The two case studies are designed in such a way that they can also inspire other schools on their way to contemporary teaching. Almost incidentally, the concept of school and lesson development is brought up to date.
