New Edition - Suitable for both G8 and G9:

The new series Diercke Geography for Schleswig-Holstein meets the new subject requirements for Geography and the associated guidelines. Regardless of the choice between G8 or G9, the orientation stage remains two years (grades 5 and 6). Volume 1 has been developed specifically for this introduction to the new subject of Geography. Volume 2 is designed so that you can work with it easily and sustainably from now on—regardless of whether you teach G8 or G9. All topics relevant to G8 and G9 are included in the book.

In addition to new content, competencies are now mandatory for the first time in Schleswig-Holstein. These have been implemented in the new series Diercke Geography: a stronger focus on competencies, increased student orientation, constructivist approaches, reflection phases, and an increase in action-oriented learning. Also new is the clearly defined goal of the subject: to learn how to shape the present and future of our planet sustainably.
