Target audience: Adults and young adults with no prior knowledge at adult education centers and other institutions.

The course consists of 10 lessons. Each lesson features a thematic introduction page and is divided into 4 sections on a double page. The main learning objectives in grammar and vocabulary are presented at the beginning of a section. At the end of each section, references are made to the corresponding exercises in the grammar and vocabulary parts (Grammatica, Vocabulario). At the end of each lesson, 10 key elements (from vocabulary, grammar, or phrases of the lesson) are summarized. Dieci is complemented by a video course in 10 episodes (one video episode of a sitcom per lesson). Additionally, each lesson includes a project (Progetto), a cultural list (Cultura), and a self-assessment test (Test).

The workbook complements the course part with the following sections:
