Die Wirkung von Mineraldünger (N, P und K) auf Regenfeldmais

The aim of this experiment is to investigate the effects of nitrogen, phosphorus, and potassium fertilizers on the growth and yield of Rainbow corn in Haute Casamance (Kolda, Senegal). The experimental design consisted of complete random blocks with four repetitions. The fertilization factor was studied in 19 treatments and one control without fertilizer. The parameters examined included plant height, ear diameter, and ear length. The measured parameters indicated that nitrogen is a limiting element for corn. Plant growth and ear characteristics are better at a nitrogen dose of 150 kg/ha. For phosphorus, a dose of 20 kg/ha is sufficient to ensure its contribution to good ear development. The contribution of potassium to better growth and good corn development is achieved with a dose of 30 kg/ha. These results, which should be complemented with grain yield, will be very useful in updating fertilizer formulas for corn.
