Product details

In Nina Weger’s life, two passions emerged early on: writing and the circus. At the age of 13, she began tightrope dancing in a children's circus and toured for a year as a professional tightrope walker after graduating from high school. She then dedicated herself to training at a journalism school, worked as a screenwriter, and eventually found her way to children's books, where she has made a name for herself with titles like “A Crocodile Goes Under” and “Club of Heroines.” In parallel, she co-manages the children's circus Giovanni with two friends, which has been awarded the German Children's Prize. Iris Hardt grew up in the Ruhr area in the 1970s and was a former member of a mirabelle tree gang. She replaced the daring climbing of her youth with bold pencil gymnastics, resulting in many beautiful illustrations for children's books. She lives with her family in Münster, where she also studied graphics and illustration.
