Die Werkbundsiedlung auf dem Weissenhof – 100 Jahre zeitnah

The Werkbundsiedlung built in 1927 at the Weissenhof is considered a milestone in architectural history and serves as a starting point for a public discourse on both historical and contemporary issues of human and societal thinking and action, initiated by the German Werkbund Baden-Württemberg with this first publication in a series. Since its founding in 1907, the German Werkbund has engaged with values such as quality, material appropriateness, functionality, and sustainability, ranging from sofa cushions to urban planning.
