The car leasing market in Austria is highly competitive. Large banks see additional potential in car financing to strengthen their customer loyalty. Car manufacturers are seeking new partnerships with independent car leasing banks to leverage their expertise while efficiently and reliably managing the existing brand network financially. There are also large automotive corporations that are establishing their own leasing banks to generate additional revenue. All providers face the challenge of selling their product 'car' to Austrian customers due to past and present financial market conditions.
