Product details

The good citizens of New Orleans don't seem to think much of Ignatius and his outbursts. However, he simply ignores them as he moves his hefty body towards the city's meat pots. After all, he is on a noble crusade against vice, modernity, and ignorance. But his mother has an ugly surprise in store for him: after causing a fender bender, she forces him to give up his ritual fits of rage in front of the television and to find a job instead of trying to improve the world with letters to the editor. Undeterred, he uses his new position to continue his mission - now equipped with a pirate costume and a snack stand. Definitely one of the most original heroes that American literature has produced in the last century.
