Germany's former top student representative, Dario Schramm, is one of the sharpest and most prominent critics of school policy since the first lockdown, and he raises the question: How is it possible that children and young people are not asked about their needs? Why are they, if at all, only considered as an afterthought? And why is Lufthansa being rescued with a billion-euro package while schools still struggle with air filters and fast internet? Students are at the bottom of the political priority list - never has this been clearer than during the Corona pandemic. Due to educational losses and significant mental strain, there is even talk of a lost generation. Dario Schramm refuses to accept this.

As a pandemic graduate, he knows the issues facing Generation Corona like no one else: whether it's alternating classes, homeschooling, sluggish digitalization, or also the lack of a voice, inequality of opportunity, or inclusion. He points out the wounds and presents constructive solutions. Because only those who engage can make a change. Dario Schramm (born 2000) is one of the fiercest critics of school policy during the Corona pandemic and tirelessly advocates for the concerns of students. After graduating in spring 2021, he stepped down from the position of Secretary General of the Federal Student Conference in autumn 2021 to study law and politics in Frankfurt/Oder. Since January 2022, he has also been responsible for the political communication of the learning platform simpleclub. Schramm hails from Bergisch Gladbach and is a member of the SPD.
