The title of this book comes from the Internationale: "Arise, ye damned of the earth." It has been called the communist manifesto of the anti-colonial revolution, and there is already talk of Fanonism. Indeed, Fanon's influence in the Third World is growing day by day. By speaking of the revolution in the Third World, Fanon also addresses the Western world. He diagnoses it from the outside, relentlessly, and not with the intention of helping or saving.
