Mysterious murders at the North Sea

Schiermonnikoog, Aurich, Sylt. Three bodies are found shortly after each other in different Frisian regions. Messages are carved into the skin of the victims, a motive for murder is not discernible. The young chief detective Marten Jaspari takes over the investigation in Germany, but quickly reaches his limits. Only the cooperation with Dutch colleague Iska van Loon leads to an old secret and an outrageous suspicion. When another body turns up, time runs out for them - and the case comes to a dramatic head.
