Die toten Mädchen vom Monte Argento

A gruesome discovery leads the surgeon Sara back to her hometown, a remote mountain village in the northern Apennines, after many years: the body of her childhood friend Claudia, who disappeared without a trace more than twenty years ago, has been found. She has been dead for a long time. Was she the victim of a violent crime? Apart from Sara's friend, police officer Emilia, no one in the village seems interested in finding out. Nor is anyone interested in the fact that other girls have gone missing after Claudia. When 11-year-old Rebecca disappears, Sara no longer believes it is a coincidence. Together with Emilia, she discovers a mysterious connection between the girls that reaches far into the dark past of the mountain village. While Sara does everything she can to find Rebecca, she is caught up by her own demons.
