It describes the causes, symptoms, and treatment options for metabolic acidosis, Equine Metabolic Syndrome (EMS), Kryptopyrroluria (KPU), Equine Cushing Syndrome (ECS), laminitis, and others. The authors present alternative treatment options while considering the biochemical processes in the organism.
