Born May 13, 1942, in Northampton, England. Bernadette Watts studied illustration and art at Maidstone College of Art in Kent. Since 1968 she has worked as a freelance illustrator. Bernadette Watts has illustrated countless Grimm- and Andersen fairy tales for the NordSüd Verlag in her unique style. Bernadette Watts is mother of a son and lives in Kent.
