Dan Millman's new adventures begin where his first book ends. Following mysterious hints from his former teacher "Socrates," he finds a female teacher in Hawaii after a long search. She is an experienced Kahuna shaman and healer, as well as a warm-hearted and loving, maternal woman who knows how to discipline him in his training. She takes him to a remote island into the solitude of the rainforest and continues his instruction there.
