Die Rose von Darjeeling

Two friends. One destiny. A love that never fades. Darjeeling in the thirties. Kathryn, a young Englishwoman full of dreams, lives on her father's tea plantation. She is thrilled when two German travelers stop by: the attractive Gustav, who wants to make contacts for his tea business, and his best friend Carl, who is searching for a new species of rhododendron. Despite all opposition, she follows the young men on their dangerous expedition to the Himalayas and realizes to whom her heart belongs. But her father's plantation is on the brink of ruin, and war breaks out in Germany.
