The stock exchange, as a public law institution, administers stock trading through its bodies. This institution is supported by the stock exchange operator, which is always a legal entity under private law. According to the Stock Exchange Act, the stock exchange operator is obligated to provide the necessary personnel resources for the operation of the stock exchange. While the members of the bodies are appointed by the stock exchange, their employment contracts are concluded with the stock exchange operator. The author highlights the specific legal status of these body members.
