Die philosophischen Quellen der Anthroposophie

Rudolf Steiner and his anthroposophy are perceived in the public eye as solitary phenomena. The seemingly closed cosmos of his work makes it an exclusive reference point for both successors and critics. However, Steiner himself created numerous connections and bridges to predominantly Western traditions of thought. Both historically in philosophy and extending into Steiner's own present, there are broad and fruitful lines of discussion that can be related to anthroposophy. In this volume, which is based on a lecture series at Alanus University, ten philosophical researchers demonstrate that and how anthroposophy can directly and substantively connect to the history of philosophy from antiquity to the present. In doing so, similarities with other schools of thought, as well as divergences, become visible and open for discussion.
