Mechthild Scheffer, an international expert in the Original Bach Flower Therapy, introduced the work of Dr. Edward Bach in the German-speaking world in 1981. Since then, she has systematically expanded and developed the application of the Original Bach Flower Therapy. For decades, Mechthild Scheffer served as the representative of the English Bach Centre in German-speaking countries. She founded institutes for Bach Flower Therapy, research, and education in Hamburg, Vienna, and Zurich. Her training seminars continue to be actively attended by practitioners and therapists. Mechthild Scheffer's more than 30 years of practice and research are reflected in 15 books and various other publications. Some of her books are considered foundational works of the Original Bach Flower Therapy and have been translated into many languages.
