In addition to adopting the regulations on explosion protection from the Occupational Safety Ordinance, which came into effect on June 1, 2015, further extensive changes will occur in 2016 with the amendment of the Hazardous Substances Ordinance: - Adaptation to the CLP Regulation - additional requirements for activities involving biocidal products - special protective measures for activities involving CMR substances - additional requirements for activities involving asbestos - regulations on psychological stress. The new edition contains the current text of the Hazardous Substances Ordinance along with the relevant sections of the official justification. The penalty and exemption regulations, which are particularly important for practitioners, are visually highlighted. Helpful explanations and references to related regulations (REACH and CLP Regulations, the Technical Rules, and ECHA guidelines) are also included.
