Die Nähmaschine

In his late grandfather's apartment in Edinburgh, Fred discovers a Singer sewing machine that is over a hundred years old and once belonged to his great-grandmother Kathleen. Hidden inside are fabric samples and sewing journals that reveal the large and small projects that were realized with the machine over time. Like little time capsules, they tell the stories of the everyday lives and fates of the women in Fred's family, ultimately leading him to uncover a tragic secret. And the old Singer can do much more than just evoke the past; it will change Fred's life forever.
